We represent you and attend all administrative appeal hearings with you.

Ensuring Fair and Accurate Decisions

UTS will provide you with experienced assistance and guidance in the presentation of your testimony and documentation before a hearing officer. It is especially important that the client also participates in unemployment hearings. UTS can only represent you at a hearing and cannot provide testimony. UTS will speak to all witnesses prior to the hearing to make sure that everyone understands the process and what to expect at the hearing. After the hearing, the hearing officer renders a decision. When the decision is rendered UTS will review, and if necessary, will appeal to the Board of Appeals for further review of the case. This is an important process to help ensure that unemployment charges remain proper and ensure that your account does not get charged benefits that it should not.
